Do I need a license to drive a pontoon rental?
In Florida, anyone born on or after 1/01/1988 must have a boater's license to operate a boat. Individuals born before this date are required to have a VALID State or Government issued photo ID. Visit our Boat Rental Prices page for more information on obtaining a license.
Next Steps After Booking Your Reservation
After you book your rental, you'll receive two documents via email that need to be signed digitally. Only the person who made the reservation needs to sign these documents. You will also have the option to purchcase additional insurance coverage for your rental, but please keep in mind that this is not required to rent our boats.
What comes with the rental?
In addition, the boat comes with a cooler, lily pad float, and a Bluetooth speaker.
Bad Weather?
Your safety is Dave's number one concern! If Dave's Pensacola Pontoons determines the weather is unsafe, you can defer your rental or receive a full refund. If you have any questions please call (850) 572-0709
Cancellation Policy.
Please let us know if you need to cancel your reservation as soon as possible. If the individual renting the boat is more than 1 hour late, it will be considered a no-show. Same-day cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full rental amount and no refunds will be given. Call us immediately if you believe you will be running late!
Are pets allowed on the boat?
Pets are allowed on the boat (20 lbs or under) but please keep them off the seats. Any damage caused by a pet will be the responsibility of the renter.
